Taking Steps Toward A Healthier Environment with the American Lung Association

For 115 years, the American Lung Association has been leading the charge for programming, research and environmental initiatives to improve lung health for the millions who suffer from various lung diseases. Radon exposure can have a devastating impact on lung health. It is the second-leading cause of lung cancer in the United States. As a company committed to helping raise awareness about radon and the health dangers associated with exposure, Certified Radon is a proud supporter of the American Lung Association (ALA). Each year, the Certified Radon team participates in the local ALA chapter’s “Fight for Air Climb” event and fundraiser, and we invite you to take this challenge with us to raise local funds for lung disease research and programming. Click here to learn more and join the Certified Radon Climb Team!

The Fight for Air Climb in Kansas City will be held this year at One Kansas City Place on February 24, 2019 at 8:00 a.m. Join us as we climb up 42 floors – 902 steps – to bring attention to the importance of clean air and lung health. Funds raised will help make a positive impact on the lives of those affected by lung disease.

Registration is now open with the American Lung Association here or you may make a direct donation through our team page here. If you would like to climb with our Certified Radon team, we have spaces open! Contact Kaili at Certified Radon for more info.

We hope to see you for the climb February 24th!
